Composite Coating in Copper Matrix with Molybdenum in Dispersion Phase Obtained by Electrochemical Methods
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2010, Vol 33, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper describes reviews referring to determination of working parameters of the development processes of composites in copper matrix, obtained by electrochemical deposition methods. The molybdenum particles having particle sizes of 3μm, respective 7μm have been used as a complementary phase. The optimal conditions for codeposition were determined, the structure and chemical composition of the obtained coatings were presented and the coating characteristics were tested.

A Tribological Model for Continuous Casting Equipment of the Steel
This paper presents a coupled thermo-elastic contact problem with tribological processes on the contact interface (friction, wear or damage). The unilateral contact between the cilindrical roll system and a deformable fo...
Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectrometry (GDOES), an Effectiveness Method for Characterizing Composition of Surfaces and Coatings
Within the frame of this work, the technical procedures and real advantages of using Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectroscopy (GDOES) for establishing depth concentration profiles of surfaces are presented. GDOES can...
Performance Management System for Purifying Polluted Industrial Water
In this paper we show an integrate system of water management and an efficient solution that is a floating dock, placed in the harbour area. Water quality is one of the most important elements for life support and contri...
Composition of Syngas Produced by Gasification of Agricultural Residue Briquettes
This paper summarizes the results of an experimental study on the gasification of briquettes made from different agricultural residues. There were investigated the effects of operating parameters such as temperature and...
Establishing the Rolling - Friction Coefficient for Different Contacts Between Balls and Termochemicallly Treated Steel Rolling Paths
Within the frame of this work, the influence of four very well-known and often used thermochemical treatments (carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding and nitrocarburizing) of steel rolling paths applied on rolling-fricti...
