Comprensión lectora y educación intercultural: hacia un debate sobre el ajuste de los sistemas de medición estandarizados y su aplicación en entornos cultura urbano popular

Abstract

The present reflection has for aim debate respect of the relevancy that there have the applied systems of measurement of reading comprehension in Chile in contexts culture urban popular. Thus, the relevancy is established of bringing together two theoretical cores that, till now, have been separated, this is, the Linguistic discipline across the phenomenon of the reading comprehension and, the field of the intercultural studies as for the boarding of the reality of subjects (students) in situation of educational diversity, who are present at schools where the reading comprehension is approached, departing from a series of strategies born from the tradicional Didactic of Language and on the base of the pedagogic model of reading (Alliende and Condemarín, 2002) in order to improve, only and exclusively, the performances in the standardized national and international, such tests PISA and SIMCE, obviating this way the subjectivity of the students.
