Abstract

This work exposes the results of the research developed to determine the relationship between gender conceptions and school coexistence of the students of the Educational Institution Cmdt César Endara Peñaherrera. The research is qualitative, from a sociocritical perspective, since it addresses a phenomenon of a social nature.The research modality is field, bibliographic and documentary, and reaches a level of correlational depth. The research involved 210 students, including men and women from the eighth to tenth grade of Basic Education, to whom a Likert scale was applied to collect the information that was analyzed through descriptive statistical techniques. The results lead to confirm that there is a highly positive relationship between the variables. Therefore, it is concluded that the conceptions of gender affect notably the school coexistence of the students object of the present study.
