CONCEPT AND ESSENCE OF STUDENTS’ LEGAL CULTURE

Abstract
The different approaches to the definition of «culture» and «legal culture» are analyzed in the articles. It is analyzed the scientific literature of the problem of formation of legal culture. Defined concept of legal culture of students and need for its formation. A comprehensive theoretical analysis of legal culture of students that provides the disclosure of its content, purpose, common patterns and features of the formation in the modernization of Ukrainian society. The conditions of operation the process of formation of legal culture of the students are iden-tified. The criteria and indicators of the level the legal culture of of university students are revealed in the article.
