Concept-category apparatus of leadership research in public-management activity

Abstract
The article analyses content of the main categorical notions of leadership phenomenon in public management activity. The article reveals particularity of leadership at the present stage, distinguishes main scientific approaches to understanding the essence of leadership and generalizes models of leadership that correspond to nowadays requirements. The con- tent of the categories “management activity” and “public management” is investigated, their structural levels and features of subject-object interaction are determined.
