CONCEPT OF BIOLOGY TEACHERS TRAINING TO IMPLEMENT THE FUNCTIONS OF EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the author’s system of views on the training of future biology teachers to implement the functions of education for sustainable development. The normative basis for the concept of preparing future biology teachers, including international and national regulations, is outlined. Its significance, principles and pedagogical conditions for realization of the pedagogical system are characterized. Such pedagogical conditions as updating of the content of professional training, use of a wide range of active teaching methods and modern educational technologies, creation of an environmentally oriented educational environment are highlighted.
