CONCEPT OF LOGISTICS BASES FOR THE THREE-TOWN REGION

Abstract
Location of the Three- Towns at the Gulf of Gda1isk coastli!ze, together with the three ports and the three ship-repair and ship-building yards, forms good conditions for the developm.ent of a land/sea transport junction. Traditional railway connections with the hinterland and construction of mot01ways and expressways facilitate sea trade. The planned development of logistics bases in the area started with several systems' improvements, introduced mainly in the railways and in ports.
