CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF POLISH COMPUTER DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR AIDING OIL SPILL COMBATING ACTIVITIES AT SEA

Abstract
The design ideas of an expert system for aiding oil spill combating at sea developed in the Maritime Institute for the Polish Ship Salvage Company Coordinating Centre are shown. The data set necessary to run internal models are shown. Proposals for data formats are given. Requirements for hydrodynamic and weather services from the mentioned above system point of view are described.
