Concept of time in fiction

Abstract
The article reviews the concept of time in fiction. Time denotes the past, the present and the future in our life. The past connects the life with the present and with the future. In each of these times a certain event can occur. There are events, which cannot be done again. However, there are some that can happen at any time. This also applies to human fantasy. Mentally, a person can be transferred to any dimension of time. However, the realization of such wishes can only be accomplished once. However, the desired may not always be valid. These are fantastic dreams, which are often described in fantasy novels. The fiction works of the contemporary Azerbaijani writers often use the possibilities of irony and restraint to emphasize the character of the main hero.
