Conditionings for using innovative solutions in frames of Supply Chain Management in Poland

Abstract
In this paper the author is defining and characterizing innovative solutions used in frames for supply chain management, and then based on the author's model of the excellence of supply chain management, as well as on the basis of studies of literature and own experience is indicating their applications to main conditionings in Polish enterprises. The main aim of the paper is to show the importance of improvements background and the most crucial conditions of realizing innovative soultions, such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP ). As a supplement supporting the main conslusions the Model of Supply Chain Management Proficiency (MSCMP) is presented. The most important factors impacting successful implementation of those innovative instruments are organizational structure and cultura, internal social capital or the cost system.
