Constitutional and legal aspects of government control over the legalization of political parties in Ukraine

Abstract
The article explores the issues relating to constitutional and legal regulation of the control over the legalization of political parties exercised by the government in Ukraine. It examines the procedure of the establishment of a political party in Ukraine and its main stages and studies the ways the governmental control is exercised at these stages. The author offers the definition of the governmental control over the legalization of political parties and outlines its purpose.
