Constitutional development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the principle of separation of powers

Abstract
The Azerbaijan Republic has gone into history as the state, declaring itself to be the first democratic republic in the East. Main wile, in 1918, the principles of power separation came into administrative units. After 70 years in the USSR, Azerbaijan declared its independence, on October 18, 1991, and adopted the democratic constitution to 1995. In this constitution three branches of the power were announced and the check and balance system was declared as a main principle of government.
