CONSTITUTIONAL PATRIOTISM AS A FACTOR OF THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE NATION AND THE GUARANTEE OF PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

Abstract
The article considers such phenomenon as patriotism and its influence on state-legal processes in the society. Based on the experience of european states, the most effective form of patriotism is determined - its constitutional form. Particular attention is paid to the definition of this species and its elements. The main components of constitutional patriotism, such as universal values, natural human rights, political, economic and ideological pluralism, as well as the principle of tolerance (the idea of religious, social, cultural tolerance) are explored. Particular attention is focused on the fact that it is constitutional patriotism that is one of the most effective factors that can consolidate Ukrainian society and can act as a guarantor of human rights and unconditional universal human values.
