Constitutional regulation of the impeachment of the president in Ukraine and in some foreign countries

Abstract
In preparing this article the has author set out to clarify the common features and differences in the constitutional regulation of the impeachment of the President in Ukraine and certain foreign countries. On the basis of the comparative analysis of the constitutions of Ukraine, the French Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Italian Republic, the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of South Africa, the common features and differences of the constitutional regulation of the President's impeachment procedure from the point of view of such aspects have been determined: 1) the presence in the text of the basic law of the state norms governing the procedure of impeachment of the head of state; 2) the legal fact that is the basis for the emergence of constitutional-legal relations, within which the president is removed from office in the order of impeachment; 3) the circles of subjects of power that are involved in the procedure of removal of the head of state from office and their constitutionally determined powers; 4) the conditions of application of the procedure for the impeachment of the President; 4) procedural terms, which is an important guarantee of observance of the rights of the head of state in respect of which the procedure of impeachment is applied.
