Construction mémorielle et dynamique postcoloniale dans Sanglots pour Loango de Florent Sogni Zaou
Journal Title: Cahiers Africains de Rhétorique - Year 2022, Vol 1, Issue 01
Abstract
The slave trade remains a worrying issue in today's societies, as much as it inspires a number of writers, such as Florent Sogni Zaou, who has made it the central motif of his collection of poems Sanglots pour Loango. In this article, we shall see how the latter proceeds to construct a historical memory on the basis of the colonial era. The invitation to this historical memory goes first through the denunciation of this human tragedy, then through the promotion of African cultural values and the repositioning of Africa in relation to this painful past.
