Consumer rights in case of purchase ofnonconforming goods in the European Union legislation and Ukraine legislation

Abstract
The article investigates the issue of consumer rights in case of purchase of nonconforming goods in the European Union legislation and Ukraine legislation. The author makes a comparative legal analysis of the European Union legislation and Ukrainian legislation on the sale of consumer goods. The proposals to improve existing Ukrainian legislation concerning the consumer rights in case of purchase of nonconforming goods are formulated.
