CONSUMERS RIGHT TO QUALITY AND SAFETY OF PRODUCTS UNDER THE LAW OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of proper quality and safety of products. The system of legislation and the position of scientists is considered. The shortcomings of the legal regulation of quality in the system of consumer rights protection are revealed. The rights of consumers in the event of the purchase of products of inadequate quality are determined, as well as the identification during the established warranty period of significant deficiencies that arose due to the fault of the manufacturer of the product (seller, performer) or the falsification of the goods. The solution of the problem is argued through sufficient educational work on the system of consumer rights, as well as strengthening the responsibility for providing the consumer with incomplete or unreliable information about the product.
