CONTEMPORARY INTERACTIVE METHODS AS NECESSARY PREREQUISITE FOR INTENSIFICATION OF LEARNING CALCULUS

Abstract
Interactive methods of learning are of key importance for the higher education system whereby special emphasis is laid on practical feedback of the teaching input and its consequent transformation into competencies. This paper aims at presenting the nature and peculiar features of interactive methods of learning, also referred to as methods of ХХІ century, which intensify the process of learning and so far have acquired the status of conditio sine qua non in quality of learning enhancement. A clear evidence of that is given through the juxtaposition of both traditional and interactive educational model. The study makes clarifications concerning terms such as educational technologies, interactive technologies, interactive educational environment and interactive forms of learning. Main advantages of interactive forms of learning are given special highlight. Also special focus is laid on some interactive methods and forms of learning in calculus training during lectures and tutorials.
