Corrective effect of the formation of mathematical skills on the cognitive sphere of mentally retarded schoolchildren

Abstract
The article analyzes and introduces the main theoretical approaches to the problem of disorders of the cognitive sphere of mentally retarded children of primary school age. The main shortcomings of mathematical concepts associated with the shortcomings of cognitive processes are revealed. Methods and methods of corrective influence on the cognitive sphere of children are given, among which decisive influence is rendered by didactic games in the study of mathematics.
