Correlation between formal and semantic syntactic structures of English proverbs

Abstract
The article deals with the character of the correlation between the surface and the semantic syntactic structures of English proverbs. It has been substantiated that the communicative aspect in the meaning of the subject of English and Russian surface syntactic structures is prevalent. The mechanism of the interaction between the surface and the semantic syntactic structures of English proverbs with two focuses of empathy has been analyzed.
