CREATING A PARAMETRICAL MODEL OF THE BODY OF THE SMALL WATERPLANE AREA TWIN HULL SHIP

Abstract

Existing methods of creating hull surfaces of different types of ships in case of small waterline area twin hull (SWATH) ships do not give sufficiently accurate results, due to their particular construction. This article proposes a method of parametric modeling of the SWATH hull form which allows you quickly and effectively generate and transform the hull with the specified parameters. The practical value of the work performed is to develop software that allows you to generate the surface of the SWATH ships in the wide range of parameters.
