CRIMES ENCROACHING ON THE PROTECTION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF A LAWYER OR REPRESENTATIVE OF A PERSON FOR LEGAL ASSISTANCE: COMPARATIVE LEGAL ASPECTS

Abstract
The article deals with the comparative legal study of crimes encroaching on the protection of the activities of a lawyer or representative of a person for legal assistance. The article focuses on the provisions of more than 30 criminal codes of foreign states regarding criminal liability for encroachments on the professional activities of a lawyer or representative of a person for legal assistance. A conclusion is drawn about the state of the Ukrainian criminal law regarding the legal protection of the activities of a lawyer or the representative of a person for legal assistance.
