CRIMINAL JUSTICE AUTHORITIES IN IMPLEMENTING THE POLICY OF "GREAT TERROR" IN THE USSR 1937-1938

Abstract
In the article determinate the degree of involvement of criminal justice in the implementation of the Stalinist policy of "Great Terror" of 1937-1938. In the USSR. Found that the most involved in the campaign was all prosecutors. Carrying out mass arrests partially borne by the police, which was subject to public security and acting at their direction. Participation of pre-trial investigation and courts of general jurisdiction was limited, their primary goal remains fighting criminal crime.
