Criminal law counteraction to kidnapping in USA.

Abstract
The article researches on peculiarities of criminal law counteraction to kidnapping in the United States of America. It considers legislation on criminal liability for kidnapping on both federal and states level. The article concludes that the distinction between kidnapping and unlawful deprivation of freedom (general norm) is de- fined differently in legislation of states and sometimes is quite vague.
