CROSS-BORDER CRIMES: PECULIARITIES OF TERMINOLOGY AND CLASSIFICATION

Abstract
The article is devoted to the approach to cross-border crime as a supranational problem. On the basis of various sources, the author presents a conceptual interpretation of a cross-borderness as a criminologically significant phenomenon. In particular, the specifics of the cross-borderness have been defined, which determines its criminological significance. The basic characteristics of this phenomenon have been considered: the forms of implementation, the specifics of development, the influence on crime. There has been offered analysis of Ukrainian criminal legislation of taking into account European cooperation legal framework in this sphere.
