Crosscultural Communication as an Important Component of the Foreign Students' Educational Process in the Aviation Industry

Abstract

The article examines the importance of intercultural communication as an important factor in the aviation industry which can affect safety. The causes and effects of intercultural communication are analyzed and investigated. The ethno-cultural component features that contribute to the professional development of foreign citizens are underlined . The author notes that the aviation industry includes character of cross-culture. Several factors that may increase the degree of compliance or non-compliance in terms of cross-culture cooperation in aviation are grounded. In the article it is determined that an example of cultural influence can be a model of oral language. It is noted by the author that intercultural communication is one of the factors influencing flight safety in the aviation industry. It is mentioned this phenomenon is the everyday reality in aviation, the success of interaction depends on motivation and awareness. Intercultural communication should be considered as a permanent process of interaction of a group of people that exists under certain conditions and is ready to adapt changes in these conditions. Communication is caused by professional and industrial situations, therefore the term "professional communication", which is the main component of the professional activity of aviation specialists, is valuable in the context of the research, as there is a large number of unforeseen situations during the flight. In the article the author emphasizes that English communication is important for achieving flight safety.
