Cultural determinants of leadership in enterprises – research results

Abstract

This article presents the results of empirical studies showing the relationship between selecteddimensions of organizational culture and leadership and the associated company’s financial situation.In companies with a majority of Polish capital and employing less than 250 people, leadershipis based on trust. In all spheres of management “clarity organization” promotes leadership- a small distance of authority, universalism, individualism, the identity of the organization andits familiarity. Trust is positively related to the company’s financial situation and its developmentis a process of building relationships.
