CURRENCY WARS IN THE GLOBAL GEOMONETARY SPACE

Abstract
The paper reveals the theoretical aspects of currency wars’ development, discusses the essence of the term “currency war”. Traditional instruments of currency wars are determined. The content and role of the quantitative easing policy in the context of currency conflicts are considered. The peculiarities of the currency wars’ course in the historical perspective are analyzed. The directions of the development of currency wars at the present stage of development of the world economy are determined.
