CURRENT APPROACHES TO THE FORMULATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF REGIONAL SOCIAL POLICY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article is devoted to important issues of development and implementation of regional social policy. The problems of regionalization of social policy in Ukraine in the implementation of government reforms in the conditions of power decentralization are investigated. Goals and main tasks of regional social policy in terms of European integration processes in Ukraine are established. The basic approaches to the formation of regional social policy to establish an effective model of interaction between central, regional and local authorities are defined. It is proposed to implement social policy in the region on the basis of regional development strategy. The recommendations to elaboration of the strategy for regional development are formulated.
