CURRENT INSURANCE MARKET OF UKRAINE: ANALYSIS OF THE STATE AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
The article examines the state and prospects of the development of the insurance market in Ukraine. It was established that the insurance market is the second largest in terms of capitalization among other non-bank financial markets in Ukraine. The main problems hindering the development of the national insurance market are revealed. The necessity of changing the directions of financing of insurance companies according to the requirements of the European and world markets, as well as introduction of the newest technologies in insurance, standards of service quality is substantiated. It is established that in today’s conditions it is important to form an effective system of tools aimed at increasing the level of competitiveness of insurance companies and providing competitive services not only in the domestic but also in foreign markets.
