CURRENT STATE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF DAIRY INDUSTRY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article analyzes the modern state and development trends of the dairy industry of Ukraine. The basic statistical performance indicators for the industry are used to accomplish this. The main problems and improvements that are typical for this industry are considered and researched. Export and import potential of the dairy sector is analyzed, the main reasons hindering the output of national producers to European markets are defined. The ways of the dairy complex effective development in Ukraine are proposed and generalized, which will help to increase the supply of milk by agricultural enterprises and to increase the competitiveness of the dairy industry manufacturers.
