CURRENT STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ICT IN UKRAINE

Abstract
ICT have important social and economic value. Prompt development and effective use of ICT in economy and society are considered as a key component of national strategy which formation is aimed at improvement of a standard of living of the population, high-quality improvement of level of knowledge and strengthening of own international competitiveness. The purpose of the article is detailed studying and the analysis of current trends of development of ICT in Ukraine with identification of problem aspects and search of ways of their elimination. Results. The sphere of telecommunications of Ukraine despite hard times in the Ukrainian economy (occupation of the Crimea, military operations in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions) and deterioration in consumer moods of the population, continues to keep positive tendencies of development. However in the sphere of ICT there are technical, legal and organizational and economic problems. Conclusions. For effective overcoming of the revealed problem aspects of development of ICT it is necessary to carry out continuous monitoring of business processes of operators, to create new or to modernize the existing systems on formation of tariffs that will promote improvement of mutual calculations between participants of the market of communication. It is also necessary to develop reasonable competitive strategies of development with definition of the directions and areas of effective consumption of telecommunication services.
