CURRENT STATUS AND TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT AND TRANSFORMATION OF AGRICULTURAL FORMS

Abstract
Purpose – the coverage of the survey results of the current state and trends of modern forms of economic structures in Ukraine and justification of feasibility of family farming’ support based on the international experience of small-scale production. Methodology of research. In the article were used the following methods: historical method (for determining the characteristics of forms of economic transformation in the agricultural sector); dialectical method (to assess the current state of functioning economic structures in Ukraine); comparative analysis (to determine the potential of implementing global experience of small-scale production); economic and statistical and graphic (for determining and displaying the analytical indicators). Findings. The basic indicators of agrarian transformation forms of management in Ukraine were highlighted. There were analyzed the current state and trends of agriculture with the definition of the main economic forms of agricultural production were defined. The role and place of family farming in developing socially oriented European economy were defined. There were grounded the possibility of transforming of private households into family farms to become a producer of agricultural products. Originality is the rationale for further transformation of forms of domestic agricultural entities (small forms) based on a comparative analysis of international experience of development of family farms. Practical value. The research results can be taken into account in the development of programs of small-scale production and rural development in terms of European integration.
