CURRENTS AND PERSPECTIVES REGARDING SPORTS ACTIVITY OF CHILDREN AND JUNIORS
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii „Eftimie Murgu” din Resita. Fascicola de Stiinte Social-Umaniste - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
Sport activity has proved its educational and formative character alongside human ontogenesis, in all stages of human development, regardless of the type of society or ideology, acting for the development of the human personality as a whole. It is unanimously acknowledged that practicing physical activities at the level of children and juniors definitely contribute to their harmonious physical development. Even though the main role of practicing physical exercise is to help them grow big, strong and healthy, there are also a number of psychological and emotional benefits, not to be neglected for them. Sport improves children's quality of life and disciplines them from an early age.
