DANCE PERFORMANCES IN MODERN UKRAINE

Abstract
Recently, a specific form of contemporary dance art is actively developing in Ukraine – performances. Domestic performers demonstrate their achievements, mainly at festival events (in particular, "Gogol Fest" and "Zelyonka Fest"), which in our country are becoming traditional. Domestic performance movement has passed the way from the expansion of foreigners in this sphere to co-creation with them and the independent creativity of domestic performers. Geography and the number of performers have significantly expanded. Performances contribute to the expansion of the figurative-expressive range of choreography, the development of synthesized forms of art.
