Abstract
Das Stichwort „Holzwurm“ in deutschen Lexika des 16. – 21. Jh. Die Autoren zitieren im vorliegenden Artikel den Inhalt des Stichwortes „ Holzwurm“ in deutschen Lexika der letzten 500 Jahre in der Annahme, dass der jeweilige Umfang dieses Stichwortes vielleicht annähernd die Bedeutung des Begriffes im praktischen Leben wiederspiegelt. Holzwurm: Volkstümliche, doch falsche Bezeichnung für die Larven holzzerstörender Insekten.
