DEATH AND REBIRTH IN THE MEMOIRS OF A SURVIVOR

Abstract
In the present paper, the focus of attention is on Doris Lessing’s novel, The Memoirs of a Survivor. We have started the analysis from a classification of Doris Lessing’s novels. The chosen novel is considered a Sufi book and we have tried to analyse and present the main character’s spiritual quest which in fact represents the Sufi way.The paper is also a tribute to one of the greatest 20th century novelists, Doris Lessing.
