The paper aimed at selecting and finding the most efficient means and methods for assuring the technical requirements in the training of the mini-handball team by means close to the game, thus contributing to the modification of the concept of the training specialists, in which the importance, place and percentages of technical potentials are followed. The most effective movement games have been set up to optimize the technical training in mini-handball, but also the percentage referring to the use of preparatory games. The study consists of initiating the handball game through a clear and unitary conception for the age range of 6-12 years by structuring the staged adapted means with a progressive level of solicitation, graduated grading and overlapping on different development schemas of specific motor skills and abilities. Methods: document study method, pedagogical observation, measurements and tests, the statistical-mathematical method and the graphic method. Results: The study was conducted on a sample of pupils from the “Sabin Păuţa” High School, Resita, both the control group and the experimental group. The subjects were checked during five control trials, i.e.: dribbling 20 meters, dribbling 20 meters using poles, throwing at the goal while jumping, scoring in two passes, passing in two players with throwing at the goal - time in seconds, system attack. Discussions: At the end of the two tests, the initial and the final ones, a significant increase in the values of the statistical indices in the experimental group compared to the control group can be observed. This increase is due to didactic strategies used in training, which have attracted attractiveness and involvement in training.
