DECENTRALIZED PACKET TASK ALLOCATION FOR SPARS CLUSTER OF SPACECRAFT

Abstract

A problem of decentralized task allocation for sparse cluster of spacecraft is examined. The method of task allocation for sparse cluster which provided one task allocation to one spacecraft was previously proposed. The results demonstrated that the method provided high effectiveness and good convergence of the task allocation process. In terms of practicality sometimes it is more appropriate to have an opportunity of packet planning. The method in which task allocation is provided by packages for each spacecraft was proposed. Tasks are selected from the prior plan which is formed on the Earth and is transmitted to the each spacecraft of the cluster. Proposed method is realized cyclically as two-stage process. At first stage it is formed total package of tasks and conflicts are solved on the second stage in compliance with consensus principle. At the same time the necessity of situational data coordination between cluster spacecraft is absent. The result of the modeling shows that method which considers cluster as multiagent system provides good results as well as admissible result obtaining for limited time. This approach allows saving of onboard computer resources.
