Definition and analysis of the main elements of programming of counteraction to crime in the activities of local self-government bodies.

Abstract
The article analyzes main elements of crime counteracting programming in activities of local self-government bodies: legal bases, objectives, principles and stages of such activity, structure of crime counteracting program and its efficiency. Based on analysis of theoretical positions and the practice of crime counteracting programming in activities of local self-government bodies the article defines courses for enhancing such activities.
