Journal Title: Journal of Air Force Medical University - Year 2023, Vol 44, Issue 9

Abstract

Objective The fixed oral health support model in hospitals is difficult to meet the widespread needs of oral health care for grassroots officers and soldiers. Based on the first and second generation mobile digital oral diagnosis and treatment vehicles, the cabin layout is systemically designed and the performance is improved to meet the medical support needs under modern conditions. Methods The chassis of Shaanxi Automobile 2190BQA off-road vehicle was selected to fix the 2. 5 m wide and 6. 8 m long cabin on the chassis for modification. The power supply system and air conditioning system for dental medical equipment were designed in the cabin, and the dental specialized medical equipment and self-locking fixed devices used in the cabin were optimized. Results The field dental clinic cabin was successfully designed, with a reasonable overall structural layout and high utilization of space inside the cabin. The installation, positioning, and fixation of the equipment were optimized, making it convenient and reliable to use. Conclusion Functional modules such as maxillofacial trauma emergency and oral comprehensive treatment unit, oral diagnosis unit, infection control unit, repair technician unit, and material storage unit have been realized, forming a new dental medical support technology platform suitable for the needs of grassroots troops and effectively improving the militaryō€†³s oral mobile medical support capability and equipment level.
