Design and Simulation of Class-E Power Amplifier for Capacitive Power Transfer System
Journal Title: MALTESAS Multi-Disciplinary Research Journal - Year 2016, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
The latest improvised technologies need to have simpler yet more powerful devices. Class E type of power amplifier has been known as an outstanding system to be used to achieve objective of transferring power wirelessly. In this paper, Class E circuit design for 1MHz application is built by MATLAB Simulink is explained in details and the parameters are determined using related formulas. The circuit is design for 10W application. The efficiency of the simulation for this paper is 81.9%. The user-friendly interface of MATLAB Simulink has advantages in terms of ease of usage and the implementation of the circuit.
