Design of Transformers
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2016, Vol 29, Issue 4
Abstract
In this paper the basic designing of high voltage power transformers has been described. The layout and construction of a high voltage and low voltage winding of transformers has been determined. The designing of a tank of transformers has also been considered.

Improving Power Quality in AC Supply Grids
This paper describes a digital and actual model of the UPQC (Unified Power Quality Conditioner) integrated system for power quality improvement. The UPQC’s design and its connection to an AC supply grid, 1-phase and 3-ph...
Modelling of Air and Oxy-fuel Combustion in a Circulating Fluidized Bed
The paper presents the use of a computer model to simulate the process of fluidization in an industrial boiler at Turów power plant. Air and oxy-fuel combustion was modelled for the study, and the effect of the geometric...
The Impact of a Power Electronics Converter in Phase Failure Work on the Power System Network
The paper presents the impact of phase failure work on power converters. The study includes a three-level NPC inverter (Neutral Point Clamped), controlled by Voltage Oriented Control (VOC). The NPC converter integrates r...
Structural and Transportation Properties of Strontium Titanate Composites with Ion Conductive Oxides
This paper has been written based on the author’s doctoral dissertation “Structural and transportation properties of strontium and titanate composites with ion conductive oxides”, prepared under the supervision of Prof....
The Optimal Choice of Electrochemical Energy Storage Parameters
The possibility of using energy storage in a power system is being highlighted increasingly often. Its operating mode or manner of use is called the “storage usage strategy”. One of them, program operation, was selected...
