Design of Transformers
Journal Title: Acta Energetica - Year 2016, Vol 29, Issue 4
Abstract
In this paper the basic designing of high voltage power transformers has been described. The layout and construction of a high voltage and low voltage winding of transformers has been determined. The designing of a tank of transformers has also been considered.

Determination of Connection Capacity in the HV Closed Network by the use of a Black-box Optimization – a Case Study
The current legislation imposes an obligation on power system operators to regularly determine and publish connection capacities of transmission and distribution network nodes. Currently, the coherent node method is used...
Model Tests of Under Frequency Load Shedding (UFLS) for Con-nected Systems of Continental Europe
The task force set up by working group System Protection and Dynamics within ENTSO-E model tests of Under Fre-quency Load Shedding (UFLS) for connected systems of continental Europe were carried out. Over 360 simulation...
Efficiency of Supercritical Coal Power Stations with Integrated CO2 Capture and Compression Systems Based on Oxy-combustion Technology
This paper presents supercritical coal-fired power stations integrated with CO2 capture and compression systems based on oxy-combustion. The efficiency and key performance indicators of analysed units with different oxyg...
Starting Power Units in Cooperation with Renewable Energy Sources
The article presents the development trends in the electricity generation market. Attention is paid to the strongly developing renewable energy sources (RES). For example, results developed for the power sector in German...
Comparison of Transmission Capacities of Two Regulation Systems: Lateral and in-phase Control Transformers
This paper presents a comparison of regulation capabilities of lateral and in-phase control transformers in a selected node of a power system. Their regulation capabilities are presented, as well as cross-system exchange...
