DETECTION OF GENES QAC A/B AND SMR, ASSOCIATED WITH RESISTANCE TO DISINFECTANTS
Journal Title: Ukrainian Scientific Medical Youth Journal / Український Науково-Медичний Молодіжний Журнал - Year 2012, Vol 68, Issue 2
Abstract
Resistance of bacterial cages to a wide range of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic agents in 50-80% of cases is caused by the R-plasmids, capable to bear stability simultaneously to 20 antibiotics. Working out and introduction of genetic methods of indication resistance to antibiotics, including caused by plasmids, is one of the most urgent problems modern theoretical and applied medicine. The research objective consisted in working out of methods of plasmids typing conditionally pathogenic microorga- nisms showing stability to antibiotics and disinfectants. In work cultures of gram-positive bacteria (are received from CHE and PHD, Minsk), showing stability to disinfectants, are investigated. The bioanalysis of plasmids genes qac A/B and smr by means of MEGA 5.03 has been carried out. Within the limits of the project: 1) the PCR method for detection of genes qac A/B and smr, associated with resistance to disinfectants, was developed; 2) a method for extraction of plasmids was developed.
