Abstract
The theoretical bases of the concept of “digital economy” as the main factor of transformation and activation of business processes at enterprises are investigated. The process of development of the determinative formulation “digital economy” is substantiated based on technological methods (smart industrialization) and information and communication society (informational competence of the society).
