MODEL OF THE INNOVATION LIFE CYCLE STRUCTURE TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE RISKS OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract
The structure of the innovation life cycle model is analyzed. It is shown that the structure of the life cycle is determined by a set of sequentially executed phases and the number of stages from which the phases are composed and depends of the each phase risks level performing. A formal procedure for constructing a model of the innovation life cycle structure which allows to break each phase into a number of stages proportional to the level of phase performing risks is proposed. The model also contains information about the duration and the beginning of each stage and is as an important tool in solving the tasks of strategic management of the innovation process.
