Determination of Antivibrational and Acoustical Properties of Some Materials Made From Recycled Rubber Particles and Sawdust
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2014, Vol 11, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents research on determining the sound absorption coefficient and structural damping level, for five samples, thus determining the sound absorption capacity and antivibrational propriety of each obtained material. Materials were made from particles of recycled rubber, fir sawdust and a polyurethane binder, in combination with other materials existent on the market (cork of fabric). Using particles of recycled rubber in the domain of composites materials is of major importance from a technical, economic and ecological point of view.

Assessment of Dissipated Energy to Harmonic Cycles of Displacement for Visco-Elastic Elastomeric Anti-Seismic Insulators
The paper presents some results of the research carried out to highlight the dissipation capacity of the elastomeric systems to harmonic deformations due to the kinematic excitations of the exterior harmonic displacement...
Velocity reconstruction in weakly laterally inhomogeneous medium
The case of a wave propagation generated by a boundary source into a weakly laterally inhomogeneous medium occupying a half-space is one of the important actually seismic problems. In this paper I study the problem of th...
About the Influence of Temperature Changes on the Natural Frequencies of Clamped-Clamped Euler-Bernoulli Beams
In this paper a beam subjected to axial forces induced by temperature changes has been analyzed, in order to highlight the effect of this parameter on the structures natural frequencies. The modal analysis, performed by...
Evaluation of Absorption Coefficient of Biodegradable Composite Materials with Textile Inserts
The paper focuses on experimental evaluation of acoustic properties of biodegradable composite materials with textile inserts used in products with protective role in urban habitat. To determine the absorption and reflec...
DAMAGE DETECTION – ACHIEVEMENTS AND NEW CHALLENGES
In last decades the interest in the capability to monitor structures and detect damage in the incipient stage is omnipresent in civil, mechanical and aerospace engineering. Actual damage detection methods are mainly loca...
