Determination of climatic loads by meteorological data during verification calculations of load-bearing structures

Abstract

The characteristic values of climatic loads in the design point are determined with considering of the data of the nearest meteorological stations. The possibility of combining of the annual maxima samples, statistical characteristics, or characteristic load values is verified by dispersion analysis procedure. The developed algorithms of calculation are a modification of the dispersion analysis method. By the example of real meteorological data of four climatic loads the optimal method for selecting weather stations is found, which ensures taking into account the maximum possible number of homogeneous data. The method of combining the characteristic values of loads takes into account smaller amounts of meteorological data and therefore it is recommended to use only in the absence of array of maximum load values or their numerical characteristics. The method of forming a local network of weather stations and the homogeneity checking of the data of the selected weather stations is developed. It is suitable for use in the verification calculations of the constructions that are in operation.
