Low-emission multi-component cements in the building mortars technology

Abstract

The main directions of the low-cost economy roadmap in the cement industry are considered. It is shown that the production of special low-emission multicomponent cements provides the realization in cement industry of progressive models for rational use of natural raw materials, fuel, electric energy with minimum emissions of CO2. The results of rheological and physical-mechanical properties of low-emission multi-component cement for МС 22,5Х building mortars are presented. It is shown that the synergistic combination of mineral additives with a significant reduction in the content of a high-energy clinker component in low-emission cements provides increasing the strength at a later (365 days) hardening time. The results of technological properties of mortar mixtures, physical and mechanical properties of building mortars based on special multi-component cement with zeolite tuff МС 22,5Х are presented. The relation between the microstructure and strength of the cement matrix mortar is established and the efficiency of using of complex admixtures with air-entraining action in the technology of mortars is shown. Physico-chemical modification of mortars by complex air-entraining admixture allows to obtain high-quality modified plasters with improved quality parameters.
