Development of legislation on intellectual property in Ukraine in 2000 (historical and legal aspect)

Abstract
The article is devoted to the actual issues of the formation of the national legislation in the field of intellectual property in the 2000s. The steps of the Ukrainian authorities towards the formation of their own model of legislation in the field of intellectual property are shown. The author reveals the main directions of the formation of legislation in the 2000s. The contradictions that appeared in connection with the transition to a two-tiered model of legal regulation of the intellectual property domain were analyzed.
